Promoiton of Integrated Resorts as Part of Regional Revitalization

In addition to international cooperation, the Asia Environmental Technology Promotion Institute has helped planning projects for regional revitalization and urban development around Japan because we believe regional development and improved lives of citizens help heighten their awareness toward environment and strengthen system to protect it. As part of these efforts, the Institute has focused on the potential of integrated resorts, which could boost inbound tourism promoted in the national policy, and expand the economy not only in regions but also the whole country.On request from regional people and groups, the Institute has helped them establish relations with major foreign companies in the industry and form a plan for introducing integrated resorts.(Above is a rendering of integrated resorts facilities in Kitakyushu proposed by major U.S. Operators in cooperation with the Institute.)
